They say it’s all about having the right eye in order to capture the right moments and shots. Now we got you Yasser Alaa, an Egyptian photographer who knows how and when to capture; he won in the ‘one shot-single image categories’ under ‘colors of life-highly commended’.
The Travel Photography of the Year (TPOTY) awards are run by photographers for photographers. TPOTY is a global, professional competition that welcomes all kinds of photographers around the world, from amateurs to professional, experts to beginners and many more. Now here’s one of the top photographers Yasser Alaa who made Egypt proud and won in the TPOTY with a ‘Highly Commended’ under ‘Colors of life’ category.

The photo on the right is the one that won in the one shot ‘colors of life’ category. The photo showcases the white expanse of the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center in Baku, Azerbaijan, which was designed by celebrated British-Iraqi architect Dame Zaha Hadid.
Yasser Alaa Mobarak is an award-winning photographer from Alexandria, Egypt. He won photography prizes from Sony World Photography Awards, National Geographic Traveler India, National Geographic Egypt, International Federation of Photographic Art, Photographic Society of America and Prix De La Photographie Paris. Yasser’s work has been featured in The Guardian, VICE, National Geographic Magyarország, National Geographic Srbija, Digital Camera World Magazine, Amateur Photographer Magazine, Photographer’s Forum Magazine and many more.
