Music festivals differ from one to another, but there are some things that are common among most of them that make people happy other than music. For example, the colorful setting and decorations that instantly appeal to one’s eyes and heart, the chill and happy vibes that are always all over the place, making people extra-friendly, talkative, and super nice, with a shared sense of identity between the festival-goers.

Music festivals in the Middle East are growing strong, and they are, by all means, matching international standards more and more. However, while it’s easy to find out about music festivals happening in the region, it’s much harder to search for music festivals in Europe, not because of their scarcity, but because there’s so many!

If you’re planning to do a Eurotrip this summer and you’d like to attend a cool music festival, then you’re in luck. We’ve curated for you the perfect list for some of the hottest music festivals happening around Europe. And the cool thing is, we’ve tried to round up the most budget-friendly ones too!

    Music On Festival

Amsterdam will host Music On Festival on the 9th and 10th of May. One of the highlights of the festival is the popular Italian Electronic Musician Marco Carola who will be performing on both days of the festival.

    Mallorca Live Festival

From the 14th till the 16th of May, Mallorca Live Festival will take place in the stunning Old Aquapark of Calvià. The legendary British electronic pop band, Pet Shop Boys, will be headlining the festival.

    UNUM Festival

UNUM Festival will take place from the 28th of May to the 1st of June in Shengjin, Albania. The festival will bring some of the finest house and techno musicians to one of the last untouched corners of Europe. The festival has three stages that will host 24 hours of music across the 5 days of the festival.

    Sea You Beach Republic

Freiburg, Germany will be hosting a super cool event on the 18th and 19th of July, Sea You Beach Republic. It features some of the biggest names in contemporary electronic music like Paul Kalkbrenner, Eats Everything, Pan Pot, Monika Kruse, Claptone, Boris Brejcha.

    Outlook Origins

Croatia is known to be home to some of the hottest music festivals in Europe. It’ll be hosting Outlook Origins at The Garden Resort, Tisno, from the 30th of July to the 4th of August.

    Medusa Festival

Medusa Festival is a dance music festival that takes place in Cullera, Spain. It’ll take place from the 5th to the 10th of August, and it’ll host some of the biggest names in the electronic music scene, like Carl Cox, Marco Carola, Dash Berlin, Martin Garrix, and Steve Aoki.

    Les Plages Electroniques

Les Plages Electroniques returns to Cannes, France, for the 16th edition! It’ll take place from the 7th to the 9th of August. The three-day electronic music spectacular plays out over the Beach, the Terrace, the Croisette, and the Rotonde, with a more diverse offering than ever before, as well as a stage by the sea.

    Dimensions

Dimensions festival will take place in Tisno, Croatia, from the 13th till the 18th of August. The setting is a gorgeous one, with lush pine trees, a long and sweeping beach, crystal clear seas and plenty of chances to get in on the great beach and boat parties.

    Sziget Festival

Last but not least, one of the largest music and cultural festivals in Europe is Sziget. It takes place in Budapest, Hungary from the 5th to the 11th of August. We attended the 2018 edition and it was one of the best weeks of our life. This year’s line-up includes names like Dua Lipa, Calvin Harris, Kings of Leon, Major Lazer, and The Strokes.
