Egypt’s renown TV show ‘Esmety We Naseebek’ is back and viewers can’t get enough of it. Written by Amr Mahmoud Yassin, season 3 has already aired 3 tales of love and failures. The series is known for alternating between different plots every five episodes.
The first two stories Etfadalo Fel Salon and Barad El Chai featured Hana Shiha, Firas Saed, Hany Adel, and Heba Magdy. The third story, Ekdeb Alya Shaway, starred Karim Sobhy and Seba.
The plot follows the story of a man trying to get close to a woman he met at the gym. The only problem is, that she is married and he seems to be the ultimate player. Yet, the show is all about plot twists and twisted relationship dynamics and the unexpected occurs.
Following the social media hype that was caused by the third story, we talked to Karim Sobhy about his show, future plans and everything in between.
The American University in Cairo graduate started his television career by studying acting in Los Angeles. Sobhy soon turned into a reporter at OTV then a TV host at Rotana and LBC’s show Arabwood.
“It was a fun experience that needed a lot of preparation. I had to embrace my inner obsessed lover and watch similar misunderstood characters that give stalking vibes in foreign shows in addition to attending acting workshops,” Sobhy explained.
“The hardest scenes I had to film were the first days of shooting. The crew at this point is usually not fully acquainted with each other’s dynamics so the first day is always challenging.” He continued.

Other than being a television’s newest lover boy, Sobhy is also a sports fanatic. The actor believes that working out is an outlet for negative energy that accompanies life’s pressure.
