The region is filled with sites where you can spend a beautiful night at the desert camping with your friends and family stargazing and enjoying the breathtaking nature.
There are plenty of places around the region, and here I have listed a few for you, so you can escape the city whenever you feel like you need some recharging.
Ras Al Khaimah
Your perfect weekend spot is located in UAE’s Emirates Road. If you decided to camp at Ras Al Khaimah then you’re more likely to see camels more than people. A night under the stars is just the antidote to the UAE’s busy cities.

Saudi Arabia is naturally set up for camping. Head to Jabal Soodah, you’ll find yourself surrounded by some fabulous lush valleys perfect for a stargazing night.

Although Jordan is well known for having limited spots around the country that will welcome the eager back-to-nature individuals, however, this place is amazing! There you’ll also find showers, toilets, electricity and drinking water, making your camping experience way easier.
Jebel Al Dukhan
This mountain is the tallest in Bahrain. It’s the go-to place for an unforgettable camping experience in the ancient kingdom. If you’re currently in Bahrain then I advise you to gather your family and friends and head for an out of the box weekend staycation.

Wadi El Hitan
This is one of Egypt’s most stunning sites, perfect for a nature getaway. Located in Fayoum governorate in Egypt, Wadi El Hitan (Valley of the Whales) was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site back in July 2005 due to its many fossils to some of the earliest forms of whales.
Nuweiba’
This coastal town is heavenly, to say the least. The rocks are colorful, the sky at night is unbelievably stunning. Everyone needs to camp at Nuweiba’, at least once in their lifetime. I totally recommend it.
