The 66th annual Cannes international festival was held this year for 11 days. Starting 15th of May and ending 26th of May. It was an amazing meeting of arts, cinema and of course trend setting fashion. As the stars walked the red carpet in openings, premiers and closings; they had some fashion hits and fashion misses. Here is what we learned with the best dressed and the worst from Cannes’ Stars.

    Worst

    5. We learned from Eva Longoria that if you’ve got some heavy curves and so little bosom your dress shouldn’t be skin tight with no such a high neckline and a back opening, also showing off her cross tattoo right above you know what; was more trashy than classy, SO NOT CANNES.

    4. Kristin Dunst taught us a very important lesson; we shouldn’t borrow our mom’s dress when going to a festival. Wearing a lumpy black dress with spots of velvet in weird places was just not right. PS the fur / feathery detail around the neckline died in the 90’s.

    3. Jessica Biel looked like she just got out of a fight with a chicken. This is just a clear look on how we shouldn’t wear feathers; they’re in, but not like that. The details of the dress looked more like she stool that poor chicken nest and wore it, also the neck thingy, I don’t know what to call it; it’s scary.

    2. Julianne Moore walked around with her pinky outside her sandal strap. Here is a little tip, if you’re going to a place where you’re going to have 1000 pictures taken of you, please wear sandals that fit you. The dress looked cheap and unflattering.

    1. Bai Ling a Chinese born actress made a joke out of herself; this outfit isn’t recommended even for Halloween. Wearing skull pants is okay if you’re under 10 years old, and no matter how skinny you are, showing off your tummy in a formal event is trashy. Also huge shoulder pads? Seriously??

    Best

    5. The young Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence shows off her monochrome classic gown with a little peplum by Dior, with so minimal jewelry. Monochrome is very in right now, however the gown gave a very old Hollywood glam to the actress. Makeup and hair were simple as usual, she made a statement with her red lips.

    4. Two hot trend burgundy and flowers meet in this amazing Zuhair Murad number. Cheryl Cole manages to look dreamy and classy at the same time. The hairdo is very simple; a bubbly fish tail braid with a front poof. A braid looks so classy and it’s really practical, would be perfect for any summer events.

    3. Cindy Crawford ages backwards, right? Her modeling days are still ahead of her. She wore the perfect Cavalli white mermaid dress with a low neckline showing off the girls in a classy way. Cindy matched the gold details on the dress neckline with simple earrings. Classic smoky eyes are still in only with neutral lips.

    2. Stunning as usual super model Cara Delevingne rocked a Burberry black dress. Cara showed off perfect body with class under trendy floral lace. With hair down, Cara made quite a statement with her diamond dangling earrings, ring and necklace. With burgundy lips and nails, she set the trend that showing off your diamonds and bold makeup is in.

    1. Nicole Kidman was a member of jury; she has so many stunning appearances. A grace Kelly inspired look managed to steal the show though. This 50’s floral midi dress by Dior was a mix between class and sexiness, topping her fairytale look with a low ponytail, a front poof and glittery eyes; Nicole brought back the princess look in style.
