I am graduating? WHAT? Really? After five amazing years at college It is happening I’m finally graduating!!! This is the moment that we’ve all been waiting for we study, attend classes, labs, do presentations and dream of it! I now realize that college is fun! Probably the best 5 years in my entire life. I’m overwhelmed, happy, sad and lots of other mixed emotions that I can’t really put them down in here.
Today is most probably one of the best days in my life It was MIU GRADUATION FESTIVAL  organized by Student Union in cooperation with university clubs Campaigners, MOVE and MUN. the first graduation festival ever at MIU and you know what is really interesting; I’m a Senior.
The whole day was mindblowing; Senior students all over campus each one wearing a super unique T Shirt according to his/her faculty and girls wearing tiaras with the words 2013 MIU Graduate,  a photo booth where the most craziest funniest photos were took with signs like (لقد هرمنا هرمنا من اجل هذه اللحظة)

At 1 pm there was a stage set for the concert . It was started by a word from the president of the very first elected student union followed by the talented beatboxer Mahmoud El Banna who took the stage and gave a wonderful performance actually he brought the house down.

Then came the moment that we all waited for the one and only, Cairokee took the stage setting MIU on fire. The concert was for 3 hours, we’ve listened to the AWESOME Cairokee  who dedicated their Mema Awards to their beloved fans.

The best surprise yet was Zap tharwat. With a mix of great songs, and an enthusiastic spirit. No one cared about the weather, or the fact that we were actually baked in the sun with temperature  above 40°C. We had really good time.

At the end of the festival I had a word with the SU president who said  ‘This is miu’s very first graduation festival. The idea is celebrating students on campus at the last day of classes, and thankfully it was a great success, the university stated that we might have it every year.’
‘There were many ideas proposed this year; however, because of the events and the university put on hold  we didn’t get to do them all. hopefully, in the upcoming years MIU’s student union will be working on all of this ideas.’ he added.
Bottom Line is: COLLEGE IF FUN! It really is, and no matter how much busy you are, no matter how you feel that you are under lots of pressure. Better know that this time you are having might be the best time ever in your life, and its really good to work hard for something you love and care about, and those busy hours in the office or at college you are making great memories which you can never forget.
As simply as it is ENJOY your LIFE! I’ve cried, I’ve laughed, I have worked hard and mocked the busy extra hours. But, I loved it and enjoyed it and I am pretty sure I’m gonna miss it.
