Opera Aida is set to be performed in Egypt alongside at Pyramids of Giza stage on the 8th, 9th, and 10th of March. The show is welcoming an audience of 1500 people; this will be the second time it’s played outside the Opera House, the first being played at the Karnak Temple in Luxor in 1987. The audience should expect an entirely different setting and design than any other!
However, the ticket prices have been released and the people are losing their minds over how expensive it is. Here are the prices:

When performed in Luxor, it was said that the Opera returned to its original home, The City of Luxor. The Opera was also chosen to be featured in the opening of the new Suez Canal in 2015 and was played by Egypt’s prominent composer Omar Khairat; scene II from Aida’s second Act — the famed Triumphal March was performed. Aida is one of the longest-running opera performances, its an opera in four acts by Giuseppe Verdi. Set in Egypt, it was set and first performed at Cairo’s Khedivial Opera House on 24 December 1871; Giovanni Bottesini conducted after Verdi himself withdrew. Since then, Aida has been sung more than 1100 times!
Aida Is one of the oldest true love stories in human history. It is about the enslaved Aida, a Nubian princess that the Egyptians have captured. An Egyptian military commander, Radamès, struggles to choose between his love for her and his loyalty to the Pharaoh. To complicate the story further, the Pharaoh’s daughter Amneris is in love with Radamès, although he does not return her feelings.
