Marriott International Properties in Egypt brought their spooky vibes to a Halloween-themed fundraising event last week in aid of Abu El Rish Children Hospital — to refurbish a unit that has been completely demolished.
Spooky Garden Walk is the first Spirit To Serve event in Egypt since Marriott International’s merger with Starwood last year, making it the world’s largest hospitality company. The Halloween event started right after the sunset where guests enjoyed their delicious semi-scary treats and spooky surprises. There was also a pumpkin lit route that was accentuated with various stations, and attendees got the chance to leave messages of love and support to the children of Abu El Rish hospital.
The beautiful host, Nadine El Guidawy, shone during the event – as she entertained guests throughout the evening, and welcomed Mr. Magdy Anis, General Manager of Egypt’s upcoming landmark of luxury, The St. Regis Cairo. This was followed by the appearance of Dr. Rasha Ammar, Abu El Rish hospital manager who thanked everyone for supporting their cause.
Marriott International Properties were able to pull off this event by joining forces with Scoop Empire as their official online media partner, and Nile FM as their official radio partner. Iram Jewelry and LG Electronics also supported the hospital with generous donations by being the official partners, in addition to the event product supply by FLO and Beyti. Last but not least, Careem was crowned as the official carrier of the event through a series of activities before, during and after the walk.
