Intro
I hate to break it to you, but the cartoons we grew up watching and the fairytales we once fantasized have a major role in shaping the people we’ve become, and it’s scientifically proven. We grew up dreaming about prince charming, the white horse, and the carriage, and now we’re complaining about gender inequality. Many girls grow up feeling insecure and less self-confident, but it all comes down to parenting. To raise strong daughters we need to show them that being a girl does not make them unworthy, but in fact, it’s a privilege. Since the fairytale industry has a storage in stories like Mulan and Pocahontas, we’ve compiled a list of real-life examples your baby girls can look up to. We need to show them that they can do it, just like other women, not fictional characters, did it in real life.
