Leos are my favourite people on earth, and it’s not just because I am one, it’s because, in my opinion, they have the perfect combination of characteristics any human being can have.
They’re charming, they gets things done and they don’t just stand around looking at the broken pieces. One of my favourite things about Leos is that behind all that invincible attitude, there’s a wonderful version that only those special few truly understand.

Your ego gets in the way A LOT
The person who came up with the phrase “Swallow your pride” was an idiot and surely didn’t know any Leos. There’s so much we’re willing to give and do for others, but it’s all about the way you ask for it. We have a huge ego, so please, don’t put it to the test, because we will fail every single time, especially if you step on that nerve.
You’re loyal to the bone
Your loyalty will make you do insane things, but whatever it is someone you care about is asking you for, you’ve sure as hell got their back – even if they need help burying a body. You’ll always be their person, regardless of the shit you’ll give them for it.
Stubborn is an understatement
If things don’t go your way, you’re not so much as lifting a finger. It is always “Either my way or the highway.”
You’re a lot of fun… on your good days
You’re a child at heart and that’s why you’re always looking to have fun. When you’re at your best, you remind everyone around you how fun, simple and magnificent life can be, that’s why you’re pretty much everyone’s favourite person. But, when you’re feeling blue, that darkness spreads like the plague, too.
Telling you to calm down is the worst mistake anyone can ever make
Leos are known to have a temper, but nothing pisses them off as much as someone telling them to calm down or that they’re making a big deal for no reason. Let us unfold our rage and then we’ll be fine, five minutes later. How we manage to do that is still a mystery to us.
You’re a hopeless romantic despite the cold attitude you seem to give off
You come off as arrogant, but behind that mixture of obnoxious and flirtatious, you’re a simple romantic that believes in eternal love and will smother your partner with affection, vows of love and never-ending gifts. You’re the kind of person that will do pretty much anything for the people you love and the best thing is that only those who are truly worthy see that heart of gold you have.
You’re confident on the outside, insecure on the inside
As arrogant or over-confident as you might seem, you’re the kind of person that constantly needs reassurance to let your insecurities go to bed. So, bring on those compliments, we always need that ego boost! What happens inside our heads doesn’t always have to show, but if you’re close to us, you know we need the attention so that we can keep kicking ass.

You make plans for the future pretty much every day. You know exactly what you want – at this very moment – and can see your entire life planned out ahead of you. Thing is, what you want changes overnight and when that change comes suddenly, there’s not much time for planning. The last say has to always be yours
You never back out on an argument and you can just keep going on and on and on until the other person gives up, loses hope or gets convinced. But the last word in that conversation will always be yours!

You never back down from a challenge and just knowing that there’s some kind of competition or obstacle you need to overcome makes your heart race (hence the drama magnet). No risk, no fun, right?
You’re too honest for your own good
You’re known to be straightforward and honest on the verge of “baga7a”. It’s not your fault you don’t know how to sugar coat the truth. If people aren’t ready to hear your honest opinion, they shouldn’t ask for it! Except that even then, you’ll give it to them, anyway.
You hate asking others for help
You’ve never understood whether it’s because you don’t like to appear weak, or just because no one will ever do it quite as thorough and adequate as you do, anyway. So why bother asking for help in the first place?
You can smell bullshit better than anyone
It’s either people don’t understand how smart Leos are, or they’re just downright stupid. Whichever one it is, when someone tries to bullshit you, you can always tell… And boy, are they going to regret that forever!
