10 Times My Coffee-Holic Relationship with Nescafe Was Way Too Real

I love Nescafe vanilla. There, I said it loudly and in public. I honestly spend an hour every morning thinking why I constantly surround myself by humans when I could pack my coffee and live hyper-actively on an island alone.

The first time the Lord blessed me with a taste of heaven was three years ago, and ever since that day my soul hurts when I’m not with my vanilla packet. Fasting is torture. I can tell it’s an epidemic, I’ve seen fellow coffee-holics running at work towards the kettle with a sachet in their shaking hands. I feel your pain people. I feel it so bad.

I’m a shameless coffee-holic and these are 10 times our daily relationship got way too real:

That one time I woke up, ran to the kitchen with my eyes closed, reaching for my coffee, knowing exactly where it is. Reminder: WITH MY EYES CLOSED. That is love people!

When I finally poured boiling water on the last sachet in the house, touched it with my lips, only to realize I never turned the kettle on and now my coffee and life are ruined

When I hide in the bathroom for an hour each morning, pretend to take a shower, so I can love and cherish my hot steamy lover, far far away from a demanding family

When I realized having a kid and enjoying morning coffee is harder than passing Thanaweya Amma’s physics exam and cried. It was very ugly

I hardly ever Instagram, but when I do, I’m a coffeenista

When you Instagram a prayer about coffee. It’s like my brain is on shutdown

That one time I was overdosing on my vanilla coffee and thought it was a smart idea to stay up late till 4 AM, forgetting that the baby wakes up at 7 AM

When I was out of coffee then the AC remote’s batteries died, so I freaked out, thought I would die, smashed it at the wall

When I almost lost a friend at work, who wanted me to share my sachet with her and I un-diplomatically said ENSI

When I cut down my coffee intake from three cups/day to one a month prior to Ramadan, then remembered Ramadan was the next day so panicked and had five

When this was my first and only Facebook review. I apologize Coffee Bean, it was Nescafe withdrawal
